Understanding the importance and limitations of MCQs; how to write high quality MCQs; sharing of examples that build higher order thinking MCQs. The workshop is interactive and participants would work on edtech tools such as mentimeter and padlet.
Ambika Gulati has over 20 years of experience in leadership positions of school education. Her journey has seen her holding several positions including Head of Department – Economics, Head of Professional Development and International Relations, Administrative Supervisor, Head of Middle School as well as Principal in schools in India and the UAE. Though she began her career as an investment banker, she soon realized that her passion lies in teaching and research in educational methodology and teacher education. Her zeal for making a difference in the lives of children led her to school education in 2000 with Sanskriti School, New Delhi, where she worked for over 15 years. She joined The Millennium School, Dubai in April 2017 as the Principal.
Ambika’s forte is in pedagogical transformation and inspiring her team to make significant shifts in their practice to positively impact learning outcomes for students. She has worked with significant government educational organisations such as NCERT, National Institute of Open Schooling and CSBE since 2007. Ambika has also authored books in Economics at the senior secondary level.
Ambika has been a brilliant student of Economics, she graduated from St Stephen’s College, Delhi University and was a university rank holder. Subsequently she completed her Masters from St John’s College, University of Cambridge. In 2012, she received the gold medal for her M.Ed from the University of Delhi.
