The last 18 months have been challenging for all of us in the school system. We suddenly had to move from a brick to click system, deal with uncertainty at the home and work front and very quickly adapt to the current phase we are in. In these 18 months, educators have put on a brave face through adverse times and ensured not just students learning but also their upskilling is not affected.

Behind each of these educators working at the frontline tirelessly, are school leaders who have supported them throughout the year. As John Maxwell said, Leaders become great, not because of their power, but because of their ability to empower others. Each of these school leaders have been a Changemaker and taken steps to ensure their teachers power through the year via constant support, guidance and the opportunity to upskill. They have led the way to show everyone around how important it is to adapt to changing times by constantly learning new skills, pedagogies and teaching techniques.

Aditya Birla Education Academy being one of the best teacher training institutes in India, recognises the effort of each of these leaders and awards them the prestigious Changemaker Award. This Teachers’ Day, we applaud each of these Changemakers and wish them the best for creating a culture of #lifelonglearning
